Buffalo Exchange

Every couple of months I do a purge of my closet and get rid of anything that's just not working out.

Now if I could only do that mentally and socially also.

But I did my purge a few days ago. Thankfully the more I do this the less I wind up getting rid of. Now it's mainly getting rid of clothes that are falling apart. However, after trashing stuff with pit stains and gaping holes, I was left with a Dooney and Bourke handbag.

I have not used this handbag for a few years. It's been living under my bed, making sad faces every time I go under there. Of course I said to myself, "It's classic, it's Dooney and Bourke. I can't possibly throw it out. I'll use it someday."

Nope. Not happening.

Thankfully the Buffalo Exchange took it off my hands, and with a little store credit I scored a Rebecca Taylor cashmere and silk dress for about $18.

It looks just like this one, except with a boatneck and none of that weird button thing on the sleeves. And guess how much this Rebecca Taylor dress costs at retail? $370.

Yeah, I thought that was pretty cool too.
