So I was browsing through portfolios on Graphis and I found this:

It's by Claude Cachin, a French illustrator.

I just love his illustrations, they're all very fanciful and almost antique looking (which I love) and seem to be very influenced by an Asian style of balance and proportion (which I also love). But take a look yourself:
